How to Use R86

R86 starts as dry granules that easily mix with water to become a spray.

Dry Method – Sprinkle granules on odor source, wait 20+ min, then vacuum. Use approx. 2 oz per 100 sq. ft.Air Freshener – Place 2 Tbsp in open containers around the room. Shake to reactivate; replace when scent is gone.Wet Method – Mix 2 Tbsp per quart in a spray bottle for fabrics & surfaces. Lasts about 2 weeks. For wash water, use up to 1 cup per gallon.Washing Machine – Dissolve 2 Tbsp in 8 oz water, then add directly to washer and start cycle.

Directions for Specific Uses Carpets

Measure your room’s square footage, then apply 2oz of R86 per 100 sq. ft. Sprinkle evenly over the carpet. Wait 20+ minutes — the product is working when both the carpet odor and R86 scent begin to fade (they cancel each other out). Vacuum thoroughly. Repeat as needed for stronger odors.

Mix up to 1 cup per gallon of R86 in water to wash floors, walls, and bathroom fixtures.Don’t over mix or salt residue will be left behind.Put 1 tsp of R86 in drains and urinals. Wait 15 min, flush.Do not fill entire drain! Salt will harden like a brick and clog the pipe.
